Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and revise 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for production, vendors, and customer deliverables Support mechanical design efforts through concept development, problem solving, and design iteration Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support integration into MRP/ERP systems Manage and organize engineering data to ensure accuracy, traceability, and efficient manufacturing flow Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues Import, interpret, and break down customer-supplied CAD data for quoting and new business opportunities Provide shop-floor support including assembly, prototyping, and process validation as needed Support continuous improvement in engineering documentation and design standards Assist with cross-functional coordination between design and manufacturing teams Required Skills (Must Have): Associate degree in Drafting, CAD, Mechanical Design, or 3+ years of equivalent experience Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical engineering drawings Experience developing and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and manufacturing processes High attention to detail and strong digital data management discipline Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with MRP/ERP systems and engineering data management Exposure to CAM software or CNC machining workflows Electrical/mechanical cross-disciplinary design exposure Experience supporting shop-floor collaboration or manufacturing engineering teams Continuous improvement or process standardization experience #ID9515
