Job description

Kumi is seeking a (preferably) experienced MARKETING COORDINATOR to provide administrative support to the Marketing, Human Resources and IT teams

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing, Human Resources and IT teams.
  • Understands and supports business development and proposal development procedures and protocols. Proposal development elements may include but are not limited to qualification document development, proposal development and delivery and pre-selection presentations.
  • Reviews RFP and bid/qualifications request documents so that client requirements are clearly understood.
  • Organizes all technical written materials supplied by support groups including organization of sections, tables, exhibits, and attachments.
  • Reviews proposal for accurate content and branding/format consistency and compliance.
  • Schedule marketing support services with the appropriate support groups such as graphics, quality assurance and production, to ensure proposal deadlines are completely understood and met.
  • Identifies and edits existing materials and/or writes copy to effectively communicate services, core capabilities and discriminators to develop responses.
  • Researches and gathers information to include corporate information, past experience examples, proposed project team resumes and other standard materials. Captures any new language written for addition to the marketing content database.
  • Tracks and reports status of all proposal submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy.
  • Help identify marketing opportunities for growth, using various sources, including on-line solicitations, published materials, networking, etc. with local, state and federal agencies
  • Create marketing materials such newsletters and presentations.
  • Maintain a marketing database.
  • Prepare, format and edit a range of documents.
  • Understands company product and brand.
  • Learn and work with various types of software for digital marketing.
  • Update social media accounts and website.
  • Supports special projects and completes other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate.
  • Maintain company and staff certifications, ensuring they remain active as well as application as needed.
  • May be required to work evenings and weekends to meet proposal deadlines.
Candidate RequirementsPrior work experience in Marketing in the A/E/C Industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • Administrative or Marketing Assistant experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
