RN Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary:

As a vital part of our Weekend Supervision Team at Birmingham Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, the RN Weekend Supervisor is responsible for leading our nursing staff on weekends to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes. If you're a licensed Registered Nurse with a passion for supervisor-level leadership and a dedication to delivering high-quality care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants on weekends to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery

  • Conduct daily rounds to assess patient care and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team

  • Collaborate with other departments, including therapy and administrative staff, to ensure seamless care transitions and efficient workflows

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama

  • CPR Certification

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure

  • Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings a plus
