Job description


RESPONSIBILITIES
Material Coordination: Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accurate and timely movement within the warehouse.
Receiving & Inventory: Verify, receive, and record incoming shipments; inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report as needed.
Documentation & Systems: Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP tools; ensure all transactions are logged correctly.
Storage & Organization: Store materials in designated locations; organize warehouse space for maximum efficiency and safety.
Material Delivery: Coordinate and execute timely delivery of materials to production areas or shipping locations based on production schedules.
Cycle Counts & Audits: Participate in routine inventory counts and support internal/external audits.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing, logistics, and production teams to resolve issues and maintain material flow.
Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; follow and promote all safety regulations and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse management tools (Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms a plus).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple functions.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
This position may require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
Work is performed in a warehouse and production environment where safety equipment is required.
Flexibility to work different shifts, overtime, or weekends as business needs demand
