TITLE: Weekend Manager
REPORTS TO: Administrator
Non-Exempt
Shift Hours: 4:00pm - 12:00pm
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The primary purpose of the Weekend Manager is to oversee the facility as directed by the Administrator in his/her absence to assure that proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times. The Weekend Manager's responsibility is to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and all shifts.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for the residents' needs.
  2. Maintain security at the facility at all times and be available for emergency calls.
  3. Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating resident care to ensure that the resident's total regiment of care is maintained.
  4. Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents as required.
  5. Ensure that department personnel, residents, and visitors always follow the department's established policies and procedures.
  6. Review and address complaints and grievances made or filed by your assigned personnel.
  7. Assist with ensuring that rooms are ready for new admissions.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and be an exceptional communicator.
  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure and multitask with frequent interruptions.
  • Work well without supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Must have minimum High School Diploma, some college preferred.
  2. Previous senior living experience is preferred.
