Job description

Position Summary:

Ale-8-One Bottling Company is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician with a strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic background as well as experience in Industrial Refrigeration. Candidates best suited for this position will be motivated with a great attitude, flexible and willing to work the hours required to support the production line. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and utility of our equipment while adhering to Ale-8-One's safety standards. This position involves performing continuing maintenance and repairs on equipment to maintain optimal working conditions and line efficiencies. Maintenance technicians follow a preventative maintenance schedule and food safety requirements. Ale-8-One is looking for a candidate who is excited to join our team while having a positive impact on our culture.

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Mechanical Background
    • Have knowledge of mechanical bearing application.
    • Knowledge of Power Transmission components.
    • Knowledge of Pneumatic cylinder, valves, and actuator components
    • Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, cylinder, valves and actuators
  • Electrical Background
    • Must have knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
    • Electrical License preferred but not required.
    • Must be able to run conduit piping.
    • Must be able to read electrical schematics to wire and trouble shoot for repairs.
    • Must be able to properly size wiring and components as per load requirements.
    • Must be familiar with motor control circuitry.
    • Must have knowledge of 3 phase electric.
  • Electronic Background
    • Must be familiar with PLC logic and able to make program changes.
    • Must be familiar with data communication such as Ethernet control systems.
    • VFD drives with AC and DC power supplies.
    • Automation Control components.
  • Tools
    • Must supply all hand tools to perform daily work tasks.
    • Must be able to use cutting and plasma torch.
    • Must be able to work with copper, stainless, galvanized and black iron piping.
  • Industrial Refrigeration
    • Knowledge of Industrial Refrigeration
  • Personal
    • Must be a motivated person, flexible and willing to work the hours required to support the production line. This includes over-time and some weekends as needed to support the business schedule and needs.
    • This is an on-site and in person position five days a week, Monday through Friday. Over-time is required and some weekends are required as needed to support the business.
    • The candidate must live within 45 miles of the facility in Winchester, KY

Preferred Experience and Background:

  • 3-5 years Beverage Manufacturing Experience
  • Must have a valid Kentucky Driver's License
  • Technical Degree Preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Electric License Preferred
