Job Description:

Job Summary: Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery and equipment to support all facets of manufacturing, insuring reliable operating conditions for the safety of all team members, maximum operating efficiency, and providing customer satisfaction for all requirements and expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
  • Ensure proper cleanliness of work area.
  • Repair and maintain the facility's manufacturing processes.
  • Electrical troubleshooting of equipment, manufacturing processes.
  • Provide repair and replacement of parts, etc., for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Install, program, or repair automated equipment and manufacturing processes such as robots and programmable logic controllers, etc.
  • Work with voltages and motor control circuitry, including the use of electrical test equipment, and reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Support and perform all equipment and process preventative maintenance activities.
  • Maintain all applicable and required documentation for maintenance repairs, installation, etc.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Possess ability to perform duties utilizing current company software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required.
  • This position performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner.

Working Conditions: Typically considered indoor safe & climate- controlled environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing - Up to 10-12 hours per day to complete tasks.
  • Lifting - Parts and supplies, up to 40 pounds repetitive lifting.
  • Carrying - Parts and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
  • Maneuvering - Use mechanical assistance devices, ladders.
  • Walking - Up to 10-12 hours per day to accomplish tasks.
  • Reaching - Upward and downward reaching to complete tasks, up to 10-12 hours per day.
  • Handling - Various supplies/parts of different weights, up to 40 pounds.
  • Seeing - Part/machine observation, problem-solving.
  • Overtime - Must be able to work daily and weekly overtime requirements, more than 40 hours per week.
