Job description

The Opportunity:
Avantor is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Weekend Shift) to be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the building and facilities.

This is a full-time position located at our Paris, KY office.

Work Schedule:

  • Weekend Shift-Sat, Sun, Mon, 6am-6pm with OT as needed.
  • Training will be on day shift for the first 90 days.

How you will thrive and create an impact:

  • Maintains building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.
  • Performs maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.
  • Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded.
  • Answers security alarm calls as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associates or technical school preferred.
  • Experience:3 years applicable direct experience in a similar position.
  • Additional Qualifications:
  • Skills in mathematics, personal computers and related applications are vital.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems required.
