Maintenance Technician

Lakeside Villas – Adel, GA

Lakeside Villas is a brand-new 96-unit apartment community in Adel, Georgia, offering modern 2- and 3-bedroom apartments. We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our property team and help keep our community in excellent condition.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new apartment community from the beginning and play an important role in maintaining the property, responding to resident needs, and helping create a great living experience for our residents.

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout apartments and common areas

  • Complete work orders promptly and professionally

  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, locks, drywall, and other building components

  • Prepare apartments for new residents, including basic repairs, touch-ups, and preventative maintenance

  • Conduct routine inspections of apartments, buildings, grounds, and equipment

  • Respond to resident maintenance requests in a courteous and professional manner

  • Perform preventative maintenance to help reduce equipment failures and costly repairs

  • Assist with maintaining the appearance, safety, and cleanliness of the property

  • Help identify potential maintenance issues before they become larger problems

  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and maintenance activities

  • Work with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed

  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards

  • Assist with other property maintenance duties as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in apartment, hotel, commercial, residential, or building maintenance preferred

  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and building repairs

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple work orders

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools

  • Ability to work safely and follow established procedures

  • Must be dependable, professional, and able to interact positively with residents and coworkers

HVAC experience or certification is a plus. Experience with apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, or other property maintenance is also highly valued.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various positions

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools
