Job Description

Join a growing industrial team as an entry-level mechanical maintenance technician, where you will support production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving machinery using established process improvement and preventive maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize process improvement techniques, tools, and procedures to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Maximize the performance of machinery by identifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment problems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform maintenance and repairs accurately.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on stamping and other production equipment to maintain uptime and prevent failures.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete mechanical repairs and adjustments.
  • Record, document, and report maintenance activities, equipment issues, and repair actions in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with facility standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize work orders and support production needs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with mechanical equipment and tools.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply mechanical maintenance concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment and machinery.
