Job description

At THUMBWAR, our operational efficiency is what allows us to deliver elite results under high-pressure timelines. We are seeking a meticulous, highly motivated Infrastructure Logistics & Asset Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role is the central gear in the movement, tracking, and physical lifecycle management of the equipment and materials supporting our large-scale data and facility infrastructure.
This is not an anonymous, slow-paced warehouse job. You will own the day-to-day physical and digital inventory tracking for high-value operational assets. If you pride yourself on absolute accuracy, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to build a career in a tech-forward operations ecosystem, we want you on our team.
The base salary range for this role is $60,000 - 75,000 / year. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as the candidate's experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inbound & Outbound Command: Oversee all facility receiving and shipping operations. Unload supplier deliveries, inspect shipments for quality and accuracy, and meticulously reconcile physical cargo against packing slips and bills of lading.
  • Precision Order Staging: Prepare, pack, and stage critical infrastructure equipment, materials, and kits for operational deployment, ensuring items are safely secured and positioned for rapid dispatch.
  • Inventory & Asset Control: Systematically sort, label, and allocate materials for designated locations. Maintain real-time data integrity in our asset-tracking databases so that digital counts match physical stock perfectly.
  • Quality Control & Maintenance: Proactively identify, document, and isolate damaged or discrepant inventory. Ensure returning equipment is cleaned, organized, and property prepped for its next operational cycle.
  • Audit Leadership: Lead regular physical inventory counts, spot audits, and cycle-testing routines to ensure zero leakage or asset displacement.
  • Facility & Safety Oversight: Walk the facility floor daily to maintain an immaculate, organized, and highly functional workspace. Optimize square footage and ensure strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and operational compliance standards.

The Ideal Candidate
  • You Value Absolute Accuracy: A misplaced asset or an un-scanned serial number bothers you. You notice the tiny details and data discrepancies that others overlook.
  • You Own the Floor: You have a strong, proactive work ethic. You don't wait to be told what to organize next; you actively find ways to optimize space, improve labeling, and streamline layouts.
  • You Are a Critical Communicator: You can seamlessly interface with external vendors, couriers, and internal teams, keeping everyone aligned on delivery windows and material shortages.
  • You Are Adaptable: You maintain a positive attitude and sharp focus even when priority timelines shift and logistics demands accelerate.
Required Qualifications
  • The Track Record: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, distribution, or logistics coordination.
  • Technical Literacy: Proven experience working with inventory management software (IMS), digital warehouse management tools, (WMS), or enterprise asset-tracking systems. High proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets).
  • Physical Capability: Ability to regularly lift, stack, and move equipment and materials, weighing up to 70 lbs. Comfort standing, walking, and operating material-handling equipment throughout a standard shift.
  • Operational Execution: Strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of organization, and excellent time management capabilities.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule or event-driven schedule when critical operational infrastructure projects require evening or weekend logistics support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience managing inventory or logistics specifically for high-value technology hardware, data center components, or enterprise electrical/infrastructure materials.
Why THUMBWAR?
We operate at the intersection of media and technology innovation, and we know that stellar execution in the field requires a flawless foundation at home. In this role, you aren't just managing storage - you are the gatekeeper of our physical capabilities.
We offer a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment where operational excellence is recognized, supported, and rewarded.
