Job description

About the Community: Bigelow Commons is a 471-unit apartment complex in Enfield, CT. At this community, residents have access to indoor & outdoor pools, two lighted tennis courts, a library, and a health club and fitness classes.
About the Role: We are looking for a Pool Attendant to join our team for approximately 32 hours per week! The pool attendant is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the pool under the direction of the Community Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, verifying resident access for entry, monitoring the safety and cleanliness of the pool facility, enforcing rules and regulations, and conduction opening and closing duties per operating hours.
Pool Schedule & Hours: This position is seasonal (approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day) and will require weekday and weekend availability.
Qualifications and Requirements: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
  • Previous experience in a lifeguard or pool attendant role is preferred.
  • Lifeguard or CPR certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and guests.
  • Must be flexible to work weekend shifts.
