Their duties often include showing units, explaining lease terms, and handling basic administrative tasks to support property management. Weekend Leasing Agents play a key role in ensuring properties are leased efficiently, especially during peak visiting times like weekends when many renters are available to tour properties.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Weekend Leasing Agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Weekend Leasing Agent, you need strong sales and customer service skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with property leasing practices. Experience with property management software such as Yardi or AppFolio and basic knowledge of Fair Housing regulations are typically required.
