Job description

Become a part of the expanding crew at Flowly Solutions in Sacramento! We are on the lookout for a committed and energetic Yard Laborer to help maintain and operate our outdoor facility. In this position, you'll play an essential part in managing yard materials and keeping our daily production moving smoothly. We need a dependable individual who enjoys active, hands-on work and values doing a great job.
Job Duties:
  • Gathering, sorting, and staging yard materials as a dedicated material handler to get orders ready for shipping and receiving and outbound transport.
  • Handling the loading and unloading of freight trucks, flatbeds, and delivery vehicles, systematically storing newly arrived goods in the yard.
  • Transporting heavy supplies, products, and equipment across the exterior grounds safely and securely.
  • Helping out with regular stock checks to ensure our yard inventory numbers remain precise.
  • Working hand-in-hand with fellow crew members to accomplish daily quotas and keep projects on schedule.
  • Strictly following site safety protocols while keeping the yard environment tidy and hazard-free.

Qualifications:
  • A background in general labor, yard work, material handling, or freight loading is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with operating heavy machinery (such as forklifts or loaders) is ideal, though on-the-job training is available for the right fit.
  • Sharp focus on the details and a strong personal standard for the work you produce.
  • Excellent communication abilities, paired with the capacity to understand and execute instructions clearly.
  • Reliable commuting methods to guarantee punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
