LanceSoft is seeking a travel Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) for a travel job in Mission Viejo, California.

Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:30)
Guaranteed hours: 40

Hourly Pay Rate  
W2 Pay Rate RT (Regular Time)   $24.00 
W2 Pay Rate OT (Over Time)        $36.00 
Weekly Pay Package (Taxable + Nontaxable)  
> W2 Wage (RT+OT based on expected hrs)   $960.00 
> Nontaxable Weekly PerDiem                         $1,540.00

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Clinical Lab Scientist experience required
  • Strong experience in:
    • Blood Bank (critical requirement)
    • Hematology
    • Chemistry
  • Must have experience in a trauma hospital setting
  • Must be comfortable handling massive transfusions

Certifications:

  • CLS Certification – Required
  • ASCP – Preferred

License:

  • California CLS State License – Required (must be active/in hand)

On-Call:

  • Not required

Weekend Requirements:

  • Weekends required
  • May exceed every other weekend depending on unit needs

Experience in Specialty:

  • Strong Blood Bank / Transfusion Services experience is REQUIRED
  • Experience with:
    • Massive transfusion protocols
    • Blood bank testing (crossmatch, antibody screen, DAT, etc.)
    • Hematology and chemistry lab work
  • Trauma hospital or high-acuity acute care lab experience preferred
