Position Title: Janitorial Worker - KOA Campground Contract
Reports To: Contracts Manager / KOA Campground Management (Daily Supervision)
Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Part-Time (Approximately 24-32 hours per week)
Work Location: KOA Campground
Position Summary
PACE Enterprises is seeking a dependable Janitorial Worker to provide cleaning and sanitation services at a KOA Campground location in Morgantown, WV. The employee will be employed by PACE Enterprises and assigned to work under the day-to-day direction of KOA management.
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for campground guests through the cleaning and turnover of cabins, bathhouses, shower facilities, and common areas. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently while meeting established cleanliness standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare campground cabins between guest stays.
  • Clean and sanitize campground restrooms, shower houses, cabins, and related facilities.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, doors, fixtures, and other surfaces as needed.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Restock restroom supplies, including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged property, or supply needs to KOA management.
  • Follow all safety procedures and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive working relationship with campground staff and guests.
  • Perform seasonal or special cleaning projects as assigned.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness in common areas and guest-use facilities.

Note: This position does not include responsibility for laundering linens, bedding, or guest laundry services.
Schedule Expectations
  • Typical work hours are approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Regular schedule will generally consist of three (3) days per week, with the potential for a fourth day based on operational needs.
  • Anticipated workdays may include Monday, Tuesday, and either Thursday or Friday.
  • Weekend availability is required as business needs dictate, particularly during holidays, peak camping seasons, and special events.
  • Scheduling will be coordinated by KOA management.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently.
  • Ability to push, pull, and maneuver cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions while traveling between campground facilities.

Work Environment
  • Work is performed throughout a campground setting, including cabins, bathhouses, offices, and common areas.
  • Position may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, varying weather conditions, noise, and frequent walking between locations.
  • Personal protective equipment will be provided as necessary.
