Shift Details: Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Requirement: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is mandatory.

Onboarding Note: Finalists must complete one month of initial training at our NW Dallas location (Monday–Thursday schedule) before starting the weekend rotation in Denton.

Overview of the Position

The Area Manager leads weekend inventory operations at our Denton site, overseeing the team responsible for preparing items for daily online auctions. This role focuses on maintaining a highly structured workflow to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. By maintaining a direct presence on the floor, the manager resolves operational obstacles and ensures all processing is completed accurately and according to schedule.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise inventory processing staff through full 12-hour shifts.
  • Direct daily operations by adjusting staffing levels and task priorities based on real-time workflow.
  • Ensure the team achieves production volume and accuracy benchmarks.
  • Provide active floor management to remove barriers and maintain operational momentum.
  • Execute real-time coaching and performance management to drive efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput and error rates to senior leadership.
  • Maintain strict adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and company attendance policies.
  • Oversee equipment usage and safety compliance in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Preference given to candidates with prior supervisory or lead experience in high-volume process settings (e.g., Target, Amazon, Southwire).
  • Proven ability to drive results in fast-paced environments.
  • Capacity to work extended hours on the warehouse floor.
  • Direct and practical communication style with strong decision-making skills.

Physical & Environmental Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing or walking for 10–12 hours.
  • Flexibility to work in varying temperatures, including extreme heat and cold.
