Familiarity with life support systems, patient monitoring technologies, and electronic health records is crucial. Strong decision-making, resilience, and exceptional communication are key soft skills that help manage high-stress situations and coordinate with healthcare teams. These competencies ensure patients receive expert care during critical hours when staffing and resources may be limited.

Managing last-minute changes, handling logistics, and maintaining clear communication with team members and guests can be particularly challenging. Regular check-ins with the team and having contingency plans in place help ensure smooth weekend operations.
