Glenaire is hiring: Dietary and Housekeeping - Homemaker
Person Centered, Team Focused, Detailed
This is a part time role, every other weekend
Housekeeping Homemakers provide service to the residents in the nursing or assisted living households to help meet their daily needs. This includes preparing and serving meals and housekeeping and cleaning that enable them to function at the highest possible level. While Household Coordinators lead the team, the Housekeeping Homemaker (dietary/housekeeping) is a primary advocate for the residents in the household. The Homemaker, along with dining and housekeeping services, also promotes the residents' psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building, helping plan and facilitate social activities, and maintaining a safe environment.
Required:
  • Dining and/or housekeeping experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to become certified
  • Desire to serve senior adults
  • Positive outlook
  • Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented
  • Working independently and on a team
  • Flexible and able to handle a fast pace
  • Great communication and documentation skills
