Chamberlain International School is a Massachusetts-approved Private Special Education Therapeutic Boarding School. We are committed to providing exceptional therapeutic and educational services to adolescents with a wide range of learning and emotional challenges.
We are presently seeking dynamic and committed individuals to join our team for the following opening:
Job Description: Residential House Parent
1st shift (weekends only), 2nd amp; 3rd shifts
Shift availability: Night Shift (Required), Day Shift (Preferred)
Weekend Shifts Required
All Weekend Shifts ($2.00 shift differential pay)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to adolescents who have a wide range of learning and emotional challenges.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents
- Engage residents in recreational and social activities
- Document and maintain accurate records of resident progress and incidents
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Experience working with youth in a residential setting: 1 year (Required)
- Experience working with adolescents who have a wide range of learning and emotional challenges.
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to residential care
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic first aid procedures
- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
