Job description

Cedar Hills Hospital, located in Portland, OR, is actively seeking a dedicated part-time Medical Director Psychiatrist to join our esteemed team. This leadership role involves managing Psychiatrists and PMHNPs of an all adult inpatient, PHP and IOP programs.  The team leader will be supported by a fully staffed team to address the unique psychiatric and substance abuse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct admission evaluations
  • Lead treatment teams
  • Provide daily patient care
  • Offer Physician leadership
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Participate in shared weekday call duties (weekend call for adult rounds is optional)
Compensation:

Choose between an employed model with a Medical Director stipend or an independent contractor hourly rate model with additional compensation for patient contact reimbursement.

Qualifications:
  • MD/DO degree from an accredited program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Licensed to practice in Oregon
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of training/practice experience
  • Preferred management and inpatient experience
  • Meets all credentialing criteria for participating physicians
