What does a weekend hospital CNA do?

As a weekend hospital CNA (certified nursing assistant), you assist the nursing staff and provide patient care during the weekend when there might be less staff. You may be asked to take vitals, administer medication, or help a patient with everyday tasks, including eating, bathing, and moving around. Your responsibilities may also require you to clean hospital beds and rooms, answer phone calls, enter data, and complete additional clerical duties. A weekend hospital CNA only works Saturday-Sunday, so this is a part-time job. You work under the direction of a licensed nurse, and you are trained to report any unusual behavior or symptoms immediately to your supervisor.
