Sea Story Sushi is looking for polished, organized, and hospitality-driven Hosts to join our front-of-house team.
Inspired by the high-energy dining scenes of Las Vegas and New York City, Sea Story is a premium, full-service, all-you-can-eat Asian dining experience featuring sushi, sashimi, hibachi, ramen, yakitori, appetizers, desserts, cocktails, sake, and more.
Our host team plays a critical role in the operation. This position is much more than greeting guests and showing them to a table. Hosts are responsible for controlling the flow of the restaurant, managing reservations and wait times, communicating with management and servers, and creating a strong first and last impression for every guest.
OPENTABLE EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY PREFERREDSea Story operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and our host team relies heavily on the OpenTable reservation and guest-management platform.

At Sea Story, the host stand controls the pace and organization of the dining room.
Our hosts are expected to understand which tables are available, which tables are finishing, which servers can accept additional guests, where reservations need to be placed, and how each seating decision affects the rest of the restaurant.
During peak periods, you may be managing reservations, walk-ins, a waitlist, phone calls, guest questions, table assignments, and communication with management at the same time.
