Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Waupaca, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
  • Primary location:Waupaca (Level IV Trauma Center)
  • Shift Requirements: 12hr NOCs Shift start time: 7p-7a *any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
  • Weekend: Every Other Weekend  (Must be available to work Memorial Day)
  • Holidays: Holiday rotation
  • On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
  • Required certifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS & NIHSS
  • Minimum Experience Required: 1-2+ years experience
  • Required Skillset: Stepdown experience strongly preferred; Must be comfortable with some patients being on drips; Critical access experience strong preferred
  • Charting Experience: EPIC within the last year
  • Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
  • Scrub Colors: Black

Unit Information: More of a stepdown/med/surg with higher acuity than true ICU due to rural nature of this hospital. 20 bed with an average daily census of 12-18.

  • Patient Ratios: 1:5 (normal); Can go as high as 1:7 on busier days
  • Scrubs: Black
