Job description

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Urgent Care Rep who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare's top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.
Position Details:
  • Location: Clearwater, FL
  • Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
  • Twelve (12) hour shift 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (or until the last patient leaves) with two days on, then two days off rotation.
  • This will include every other weekend (Weekend Differential may apply)

The Urgent Care Rep is responsible for:
  • Responsible for supporting the urgent care operation by obtaining accurate patient and client information
  • Completing accurate and timely registrations
  • Collecting and posting charges and payments
  • Working in multiple systems simultaneously
  • Answering patient and client questions
  • Distributing information to patients and clients including medical record
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
  • High School or Equivalent

Experience:
  • Required 6 months of healthcare
  • Or 6 months of Customer Service
