Groundwater sampling involves collecting water from wells or boreholes using specialized equipment such as bailers, pumps, or low-flow sampling devices to ensure sample integrity. The process requires proper purging of the well, use of clean containers, and adherence to protocols to prevent contamination, often under environmental regulations. Groundwater sampling technicians typically wear protective gear and may need certifications in sampling procedures and safety standards.
