WindRiver is a luxury lakefront and golf community offering a vibrant lifestyle that encompasses world-class amenities, including a championship golf course, full-service marina, Lakeside Inn, resort-style pool, and much more. At the heart of our community is WindRiver Club, a private members-only club soon to feature Clubhouse Village - home to our restaurant, bar, spa, fitness center, event spaces, and pro shop.  

As a Golf Cart Attendant, you will support outside golf operations by working closely with the Pro Shop team to ensure a smooth and welcoming guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting guests, staging and maintaining golf carts, supporting driving range operations, and keeping carts, range areas, and surrounding property clean and organized.

Responsibilities

Guest Service & Operational Support

  • Greet all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner in accordance with WindRiver policies and procedures, ensuring a positive first impression. 
  • Handle guest requests, comments, concerns, or complaints promptly and courteously, referring issues to a supervisor when necessary. 
  • Assist golf shop personnel with tournament and event setup, including preparation of golf carts and the driving range. 
  • Follow proper opening and closing procedures for both golf cart and driving range operations to ensure smooth daily workflow. 
  • Always adhere to all required uniform and personal hygiene standards, maintaining a clean, neat, and professional appearance in accordance with WindRiver policies. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or required to support overall golf operations. 

Golf Cart, Range & Property Maintenance

  • Maintain the golf cart fleet by adhering to strict cleanliness, safety, and operational standards. 
  • Rotate golf carts regularly to ensure even usage across the fleet, monitor cart condition, fuel levels, and electric charge. 
  • Conduct daily driving range ball recovery using both mechanical and hand-operated equipment. 
  • Wash range balls and set up the driving range as needed to maintain a clean, professional appearance. 
  • Maintain the golf course by keeping all areas neat, clean, and free of trash and debris. 
  • Track, maintain, and report supply inventory needs to ensure adequate operational materials are always available.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (preferred).  
  • 1 year of general customer service experience (required).  
  • Must be at least 18 years old (required).  
  • Valid Driver's license (required). 
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings (required).  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  

  • Excellent oral organizational skills, ability to perform a wide variety of tasks during in a fast paced environment.  
  • Demonstrated positive interpersonal and communication skills with staff and customers.  
  • Ability to be a team player.  
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations. 
  • Basic understanding of golf rules, terminology, and course etiquette to assist guests effectively. 

Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, twist, kneel, lift, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be willing to work outside and in varying weather conditions.
