Job description

This position will run from April through November.
Come join our golf crew as the Golf Course Mechanic to maintain and repair the golf course equipment! This role ensures the proper functioning of the equipment to support the daily operations of the golf course.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on golf course equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any equipment malfunctions or potential issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of the equipment
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance
  • Collaborate with the golf course management and other staff in identifying equipment needs and evaluating new machinery options
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities

Requirements
  • Must be 18 or older with 1 -3 years previous experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Availability as early as 5am on days with golf outings or high volume tee times
  • Ability to work weekends or holidays when needed
  • Strong knowledge of golf course maintenance equipment, including small engines, irrigation systems, and mowers
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing issues with electrical and hydraulic systems
