Job description

Cherry Creek Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Golf Course Greens Keeper to join our team in Shelby Township, MI. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course, ensuring a high-quality experience for all our members and guests. This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $18.00, paid bi-weekly.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain turfgrass areas including mowing, trimming, watering, fertilizing, and aerating greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
  • Operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Identify and address pest, disease, and weed issues promptly to keep the course in excellent condition.
  • Assist with irrigation system management and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare the golf course for daily play, including setting up tees, pin placements, and course markers.
  • Perform general upkeep such as raking bunkers, clearing debris, and repairing divots and ball marks.
  • Work collaboratively with the Management team to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in golf course maintenance or groundskeeping preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate golf course machinery and equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards.
