WindRiver is a luxury lakefront and golf community offering a vibrant lifestyle that encompasses world-class amenities, including a championship golf course, full-service marina, Lakeside Inn, resort-style pool, and much more. At the heart of our community is WindRiver Club, a private members-only club soon to feature Clubhouse Village โ€” home to our restaurant, bar, spa, fitness center, event spaces, and pro shop.

As Golf Course & Grounds Crew Member, your main responsibility is maintaining the grounds of WindRiver's championship golf course. This position is seasonal, full-time from May-September.

Responsibilities

Equipment Operation & Care

  • Operate a variety of groundskeeping equipment including mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and other approved light maintenance machinery.
  • Safely operate golf carts and utility vehicles to travel throughout the course while performing assigned tasks.
  • Operate additional maintenance equipment as authorized and trained by the supervisor.
  • Perform daily checks of fuel, oil, and fluid levels on all assigned equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Clean, inspect, and properly store equipment at the end of each workday.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance facilities, storage areas, and workspaces.
  • Promptly report equipment damage, safety concerns, or mechanical issues to the equipment manager or supervisor.

Golf Course & Grounds Maintenance

  • Maintain turf areas, cart paths, sprinkler heads, sand bunkers, and landscaped areas to club standards.
  • Assist with irrigation and drainage work to support proper water flow and turf health.
  • Perform sod installation, soil preparation, and general landscaping duties as needed.
  • Support construction, renovation, and course improvement projects as assigned.
  • Ensure the course is maintained to high aesthetic and playability standards for members and guests.
  • Perform routine upkeep tasks to preserve the overall appearance and functionality of the property.


Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Must be at least 18 years old (required).
  • 1 year of golf course maintenance experience or vocational training (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, twist, kneel, climb stairs, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be willing to work outdoors and be comfortable in varying weather.
