Front Desk Receptionist

Tesoro Technology, St. Cloud, MN

Job Type: Part-time (30 hours per week) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Position Summary: Tesoro Technology is seeking a friendly, organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our St. Cloud office. This part-time role is responsible for greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, managing appointment scheduling, and performing general administrative tasks to keep the front office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors professionally and maintain a welcoming reception area.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; take and relay messages
  • Schedule and confirm appointments; manage front-desk calendar
  • Check clients in/out and manage visitor sign-in procedures
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
  • Perform light office administration tasks: photocopying, scanning, filing, and data entry.
  • Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed
  • Assist with basic billing inquiries or direct financial questions to appropriate staff
  • Support internal teams with ad hoc administrative tasks and process improvement suggestions
  • Ensure front desk policies and confidentiality protocols are followed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous front-desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using phone systems, email, appointment software, and basic office applications (e.g., MS Office)
  • Professional demeanor, dependable, and able to work independently
