Job description

1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. is looking for a Floral Designer for their Philadelphia MDC. with 3-5 years of experience as a floral designer in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. They should possess foundational knowledge of floral handling and processing and be able to identify a wide variety of flowers by name to accurately execute design recipes. A creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines are essential.

Position Overview

The candidate must possess professional floral design experience and demonstrate the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively to meet operational deadlines while maintaining quality standards.


Responsibilities
  • Assist with the maintenance of plants and dish gardens
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooler at all times
  • Ensure proper floral handling and processing standards are followed
  • Accurately identify a wide variety of flowers by name
  • Execute design recipes in accordance with productivity and quality standards
  • Assist in other departments as needed
