JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview


We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join our catering team as a Catering Events Specialist. This role is hands-on and customer-facing—perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, representing our brand at events, and delivering excellent service to guests.

The Catering Events Specialist will be responsible for preparing, transporting, setting up, and operating food booths at a variety of events including food truck gatherings, festivals, weddings, and college sporting events.




Key Responsibilities
  • Event Prep & Packing
  • Arrive at the store in the morning to gather and organize all prepared food.
  • Pack food into appropriate containers (coolers, hot boxes, etc.) to maintain quality.
  • Take inventory of food and supplies prior to departure.
  • Load all event supplies and food into your personal vehicle for transport.
  • On-Site Event Operations
  • Set up catering booth/food station according to event guidelines.
  • Serve food to customers with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Operate cash register and/or point-of-sale system for sales and online orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining food safety standards.
  • Event Breakdown & Return
  • Safely pack up remaining food, equipment, and supplies.
  • Return all items to the store, restocking and organizing as needed.
  • Perform a post-event inventory check.
  • Reconcile cash, POS, and inventory reports with management.



Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (required for transporting food and supplies).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and loading food/equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior food service, catering, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
