Procon seeks an organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to provide hands-on support across marketing, business development, communications, events, and client engagement for our growing, technology-forward AEC consulting firm.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, responsive, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid, primarily daytime role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketing professional to gain broad experience and meaningful responsibility while developing their knowledge of the AEC industry, with occasional evening and weekend availability required for events.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, business development support, or a related role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments, deadlines, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, CRM/database systems, project management tools, and modern marketing technology.
  • Experience with photography, Canva, Adobe tools, event platforms, CRM systems, or digital marketing is a plus.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and flexible approach with a willingness to support a variety of marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Interest in developing knowledge of the AEC, professional services, and technology industries.
  • Ability to work from Procon's McLean, VA office at least three days per week, with flexibility to provide onsite support on short notice as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work to support conferences, client events, and company activities.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, including event displays, boxes, marketing materials, and shipments.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support marketing campaigns, communications, social media, client engagement, and business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate conferences, sponsorships, industry events, internal events, and partnerships, including registration, logistics, materials, travel, shipping, and onsite support.
  • Draft and coordinate social media content, event promotions, company updates, and other marketing communications.
  • Develop and update brochures, presentations, event materials, and other marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate client gifts and company promotional items, including research, ordering, inventory, distribution, and vendor management.
  • Maintain digital marketing assets, including photography, video, graphics, project information, and shared resources.
  • Capture event and team photography and assist with content collection for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data for Marketing and Business Development, including contacts, companies, campaigns, events, registrations, and outreach activities.
  • Support CRM data cleanup, list management, segmentation, event registration, and reporting.
  • Coordinate vendors, estimates, schedules, invoices, and marketing purchases while assisting with budget and expense tracking.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, and task management systems to ensure deadlines and deliverables stay on track.
  • Provide general support to the Marketing and Business Development team and assist with additional priorities as needed.
