Job description

Small animal/equine private practice looking to add a 3rd full‑time veterinarian to our 2.5 veterinary team. We value quality of life and flexibility in scheduling and see ourselves as a work "family". The practice has 4 exam rooms, a surgical suite, dental unit, endoscopy, digital X‑ray, ultrasound, and a large animal exam area with stocks, 2 stalls, and a powerflo. The equine practice is limited to haul‑in appointments only and accounts for about 5% of total patients. Work weeks are 4 - 4.5 days, with no after‑hours emergencies and rotating weekend shifts. Each doctor is provided an assistant with additional staff to ease the workflow. Mentorship is available and encouraged. New grads receive the time and attention needed to become competent veterinarians. We practice team medicine and enjoy collaborating on patient care.

The right candidate will have a good attitude and work ethic, be a team player, capable of multitasking, possess strong problem‑solving and logical thinking skills, and have an interest in both small animal and equine medicine/surgery.

Compensation includes a competitive salary based on experience, 401(k) with profit sharing, licenses, dues, and insurance, CE stipend with PTO, 2 weeks of vacation, pet discounts, and quarterly bonuses tied to hospital performance.
