Job description

                 Housekeeper - Environmental Services

Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound, 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028

Work hours: Full Time; Evenings, 3pm-11:30pm; 40 hours per week, with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend

Environmental Services Department Highlights:

Here's What You Need

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred

  • Six months related experience required
  • Experience in a hospital or hotel setting is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is strongly preferred

What You Will Do

  • Empty, clean and reline trash containers.
  • Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets. Sanitize and spot clean.

  • Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen.
  • Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff.
