Job description

The position requires a person that enjoys outdoor work. It involves tedious sample collection of building materials, soil, water, air and other types of sampling. The candidate shall also be able to read and write English and able to record accurate observations as well as being adept in using hand tools and instruments.

Qualifications:

1. Able to travel extended periods.

2. Have a valid drivers license and a car.

3. Able to obtain access to Federal bases and other State and government secured areas.

4. Work independently.

5. Must reside on Oahu.

6. Certifications will be required for basic work and desired upon employment but not required. Starting pay will be a consideration with experience and certifications listed below:

a. Asbestos inspector

b. Lead inspector

c. Asbestos project monitor
