Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ ICU | Contract

Location: California 93274
Pay: $2,059 โ€“ $2,311/week


Schedule:
  • Night shift (3rd shift): 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:30 AM (1900โ€“0730)

  • Full-Time: 36โ€“48 hours/week

  • Rotating weekends and holidays required

  • Auto-offer position

  • Possible float to ER as needed


Position Summary & Responsibilities:
  • Provide coordinated, high-acuity nursing care to ICU patients using the nursing process

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care

  • Monitor patient status and respond to critical changes using clinical judgment

  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families

  • Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate

  • Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care

  • Document care accurately using Cerner (preferred system)


Requirements:
  • Active RN license in California (Required)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required

  • Minimum acute care or ICU experience preferred

  • BSN preferred

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

  • EMR: Cerner (preferred)

  • Weekend requirement: approx. 6 weekend shifts per 6-week cycle

  • Scrubs: Navy blue
