Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy position requiring 2+ years of inpatient endoscopy experience and a FL or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the OR/Endoscopy department of a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- On-call required for holidays, weekends, and weekdays with a 30-minute response requirement to the hospital
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient endoscopy experience required
- Advanced endoscopy experience preferred (EMR, ESD, RFA, CRYO, POEM, ERCP)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing degree accreditation documentation required on profile, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
- Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
- Address, email, full DOB, full SSN, and RN license number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in the endoscopy unit alongside core staff
- Travelers are expected to integrate fully into the unit and function as core staff
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and cannot own or cosign property within that radius
- Candidates must be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration, as RTO will not be approved after that point
- Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and ID processing
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documentation
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- COVID and flu documentation required for consideration
