Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Oncology unit position on nights, requiring ONS certification and a VA or compact RN license.

Details
  • Inpatient Oncology unit with a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit and a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU)
  • Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
  • Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
  • 36 or 48 hour options available
  • Every other weekend required, with 2 of 3 winter holidays required
  • Float required per facility policy
  • Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
  • Active VA or compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • ONS certification required, with certificate to be provided
  • ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification required, pending completion accepted prior to start depending on experience

Additional Information
  • Provide direct patient care to adult hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant patients
