Overview

Palm Health Resources is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment at a large, nationally recognized academic hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, predictable shifts, and the chance to join a highly respected anesthesia team within a Level I Trauma Center.

This assignment is well-suited for CRNAs who value reliability, accessibility, and flexibility in their locums work while enjoying all that central Kentucky has to offer.

Assignment Details
  • Start Date: As soon as credentialed
  • Contract Length: Ideally 26 weeks (negotiable + option to extend)
  • Schedule:
    • Full-time, 4x10s preferred (MTh or TF)
    • Other options considered: 4x10, 5x10, 3x12, 4x12, 5x12
    • Day shifts only, no weekends, no call
  • Hours: 6:30 AM 5:30 PM ( -hour lunch)
  • Setting: Hospital-based
  • Cases: General, Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (no hearts, no OB)
  • Skills: Intubation, line placement (central, arterial). Blocks rarely required.
  • Patient Population: All ages (infants through geriatrics, no neonatal)
  • EMR: Epic
  • Support Model: Collaborative team environment with anesthesiologists, residents, and anesthesia techs (typical MD supervision ratio 1:2 or 1:3 with CRNA support).
  • Credentialing: 90 days
