U.S. Waffle Company, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Vertical Wrapper Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining vertical packaging equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality finished products.
The ideal candidate will monitor production lines, troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with team members to meet daily production goals. This role plays a critical part in maintaining food safety and quality standards, including compliance with SQF, GMP, and HACCP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate vertical wrapping machines according to product specifications
  • Adjust machine settings (film size, tension, tube size, etc.) to ensure proper operation
  • Monitor production lines and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Assist with changeovers, including moving materials and equipment
