Converting Machine Operator Position Summary:We're hiring a Converting Operator to join our production team!In this role, you'll run and monitor machines, keep production moving, and help ensure our products meet quality and safety standards.Second Shift: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Monday – Friday*Saturdays as neededEducation:High School diploma or GED Required.Experience:Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.Prior experience with coating, laminating, or extrusion equipment is a plus.Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.Key Responsibilities:Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices.Perform general set-up of machines.Prepare materials for the production process.Load and unload material from the machine.Assist in monitoring the operation of the machine.Track and label finished products manually and electronically.Communicate effectively with helpers, supervisors, and maintenance to resolve issues.Set priorities to match the importance of job assignments.Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams.Check products throughout the shift to make sure they meet company quality standards.Follow all safety and EHS policies to keep yourself and your team safe on the job.Physical Requirements:Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs., Standing up to 8+ hours a day, twisting, bending, squatting, and varying temperatures.Other:Legal authorization to work in the US is required.Relocation Eligible: Ineligible for Relocation.Disclaimers:The above information in this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work employees perform within this classification.
