Job description

Location: This position is based on-site in Lebanon, KY. Remote work is not available.
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Employment Type: Full-Time
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve production processes, documentation, and engineering standards.
  • Develop and update Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), process flow charts, work instructions, Bill of Materials (BOM), condition standards, and related process documentation.
  • Support internal audits and quality system requirements.
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze scrap, labor, and process inefficiencies, identify root causes, and implement sustainable countermeasures.
  • Support new product launches, pre-trial evaluations, and process readiness activities.
  • Lead service campaigns, material changes, and recycling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, vendors, and contractors to improve process performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Toyota Production System (TPS) principles and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Track and report improvement results, cost savings, and operational performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent engineering technician experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or engineering support roles.
  • Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience performing PFMEA development, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and identify critical product characteristics.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional and multicultural manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Excel required; MS Project preferred.
  • AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
  • Experience with gauges, checking fixtures, and data analysis tools.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, heat, chemicals, and molten resins requiring appropriate PPE.
  • Frequent standing and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
