Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range $60hr - $65hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting (ToyoPuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley) + 4 years.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PLCs + 6 years.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical circuits and Industrial controls + 4 years.
  • 2-year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
  • Proficiency with MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, TEAMs.

Responsibilities:

  • Review equipment specifications and design, identify improvements, conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functions.
  • Install equipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipment.
  • Investigate to determine modification requirements. Implement modifications. Trial and adjust.
  • Lower cost and decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor and facilitating kanban process.
  • Improve equipment quality and productivity by implementing adjustments, as identified during online vehicle trials.
  • Install, set-up, and troubleshoot ToyoPuc and Allen-Bradley program controllers.
  • Provide training to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipment.
  • Share Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local NAMC Maintenance and Production Members.
  • Travel up to 20% at times. Engage in travel to U.S., Canada and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel including Japan, Canada, Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Nice to Have:

  • 4+ years Industrial maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Robot programming and teaching.
  • Knowledge of AGVs/AMRs programming and set up.
  • Knowledge of safety scanners and programming.
  • Knowledge of various industrial controls networking, EthernetIP, FLNet, ProfiNet, etc.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge in Client Machinery Standards (NA-AMS, G-AMS, Machinery Risk Assessment, etc).
  • OSHA 10 certification.
