South Shore Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position within our Detox Center. This full-time position is unique in that it allows you to operate remotely, thereby offering flexibility while you contribute to the impactful work being carried out at our Detox Center. You will be collaborating with a dedicated team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, all focused on providing comprehensive support to our clients. The role involves flexibility in scheduling, with some evening and weekend hours required to meet client needs, ensuring we are available when they require our assistance most.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, uncover strengths, and identify available resources to support recovery.
• Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop and implement detailed, individualized treatment plans that outline specific goals and targeted interventions tailored to each client.
• Collaborate closely with other professionals in the treatment team to ensure coordinated and effective care, sharing insights and strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
• Offer support and intervention during crises, conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans to mitigate potential dangers.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and assessments in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, fostering a supportive community among clients.

Your primary focus will be on individuals seeking support and treatment in a detox setting. Clients may be dealing with substance use challenges alongside underlying mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. You will play a crucial role in guiding them through their recovery journey, utilizing your clinical skills to help them develop coping strategies and resilience during this vulnerable time.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, where you have directly interacted with clients in need of support.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment methodologies relevant to mental health care.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, enabling you to connect effectively with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience working in substance use treatment or detox environments.
• Exposure to various therapeutic techniques that address trauma and co-occurring disorders.
• Demonstrated ability to engage clients by employing motivational interviewing techniques and other skills that support healthy behavioral changes.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
