About the Position

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our front desk team at a busy hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is ideal for someone with hotel front office experience who enjoys leading a team, delivering outstanding guest service, and ensuring smooth daily operations.


The Front Desk Supervisor will oversee guest arrivals and departures, support and train front desk associates, resolve guest concerns, and help maximize hotel revenue while maintaining exceptional service standards.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support front desk associates during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure fast, friendly, and professional guest check-in and check-out experiences.
  • Handle guest questions, concerns, and service recovery with professionalism.
  • Train, coach, and develop front desk team members.
  • Verify reservations, room assignments, and guest billing accuracy.
  • Monitor room inventory, availability, and daily occupancy.
  • Assist with cash handling, balancing shifts, and audit procedures.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
  • Ensure company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards are followed.
  • Assist with scheduling and shift coverage as needed.
  • Support hotel management with daily operational tasks and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hotel front desk experience preferred.
