Job Title: Warehouse Associate – 2nd shift or Weekend shift

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations in a modern, climate-controlled facility. This role focuses on accurate order processing, safe material handling, and efficient shipping and receiving activities while using RF scanners, ERP systems, and powered industrial trucks to keep materials and products moving smoothly through the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Process internal orders and accurately pick parts and materials for production and other internal work orders.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including preparing and verifying bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and related documentation.
  • Use RF scanners to locate, pick, pack, and track inventory and orders throughout the warehouse.
  • Enter and update data in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX, or similar platforms to maintain accurate inventory and transaction records.
  • Operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up), pallet jacks, and walkie riders to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring correct counts and proper handling of products.
  • Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including staging, organizing, and replenishing inventory as needed.
  • Utilize pallet wrappers to secure loads for storage or shipment, ensuring products are properly wrapped and stable.
  • Follow established safety procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to support smooth warehouse and production operations.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2+ years of material handling or forklift operating experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • At least 2+ years of experience loading and unloading materials from trucks or trailers.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up trucks, as well as pallet jacks and walkie riders.
  • Hands-on experience using RF scanners for inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
  • ERP system experience, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX, or comparable platforms, for data entry and inventory transactions.
  • Demonstrated experience with shipping and receiving processes, including handling BOLs, packing slips, and related paperwork.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis as part of daily warehouse tasks.
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Strong general technology skills and comfort working with digital tools and warehouse systems.
  • Experience with inventory control, including counting, tracking, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Background in order picking, packing, and material handling in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
