Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a Float Registered Nurse (RN) to support its Vaccination Support Initiative. The RN will administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations while providing exceptional patient care across assigned CVS retail pharmacy locations. PPE is provided.

Minimum Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted RN License
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Experience administering Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • High School Diploma/GED (verification required)
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines.
  • Assess patients and determine vaccination eligibility.
  • Educate patients on vaccines, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care.
  • Maintain accurate vaccination documentation and patient records.
  • Follow CDC, state, and CVS vaccination protocols.
  • Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and infection prevention practices.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a retail pharmacy setting.

  • Float between assigned CVS locations as needed.
