What is a Weekend CVS Vaccine RN?

Weekend CVS Vaccine RNs are registered nurses who work for CVS Pharmacy, typically on weekends, administering vaccines such as flu shots, COVID-19 vaccines, and other immunizations. Their primary responsibilities include assessing patient eligibility, preparing and giving vaccinations, monitoring for adverse reactions, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing patient education. These nurses play a crucial role in public health by helping increase access to essential vaccines during times when regular clinics may be closed.
